What a Waste! A Digital Course on the Circular Economy

Is it really always better to produce as little waste as possible? And how is it that virgin raw materials are often cheaper than recycled ones? In this course, you will explore and question some of the most established ideas about waste, resources, and sustainability – and discover why they don’t always hold up.

In five short modules, you will:

• Test your understanding of what the world actually looks like today
• Explore how our way of thinking influences the decisions we make
• See how problems and solutions are often closer than we think
• Learn about common myths and misconceptions – and what is actually true

The training is based on Ragn‑Sells’ view of the circular economy, combined with a broad foundation of research and established sources. At the same time, it fundamentally addresses something that affects us all. Regardless of your role, sector, or prior knowledge, you will gain new perspectives on how we use our resources today – and how we can do better in the future.
